Legends Trophy

The Legends Trophy was born from the dream to bring together football legends around one of their greatest passions: golf. In 2018, PGA Catalunya hosted the first edition, which was attended by unforgettable players such as Giancarlo Antognoni, World Champion with Italy in 1982, Pep Guardiola, recognized today as the best coach in the world, and Gabriel Batistuta, the best striker in Argentine history. Kenneth Perez (scratch) and Pep Guardiola (handicap) were the winners of the first edition.


Legends Trophy featured the participation of former football players who wrote some of the most important episodes in the history of the king of sports, like Antognoni, World Champion with Italy in 1982, Batistuta, one of the best strikers in the history, Panucci, Champions League champion with Real Madrid and AC Milan, FC Barcelona Dream Team heroes as Guardiola, Salinas, Txiki, Ferrer or Nadal and Anfield idols as Kuyt and Luis García.

The 1st edition of the Legends Trophy offered a host of wonderful images of competitiveness and coexistence among all the great players who participated. When they were playing, at the awards ceremony and in the free time they shared together.

Golf course

PGA Catalunya, located in Caldes de Malavella (Girona), is one of the best golf courses in Europe. It has two 18-hole courses: The Stadium Course, which according to experts is one of the most difficult and beautiful in Europe; and the Tour Course. PGA Catalunya also has a five-star luxury hotel, the Hotel Camiral, where Legends Trophy players stay.


The Legends Trophy kicks off with the celebration of a Pro-Am, Johan Cruyff  Memorial, in which football legends share a team with professional golf players, other athletes, personalities and event sponsors.
