Girona have just announced the arrival of the colombian defender Bernardo Espinosa, who will sign a four-year contract with the Catalan team. He played last season with Middlesbrough, playing onle 15 matches because didn't make his debut until December but impressing in a game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
He has also experience in Spanish football. He played for Sevilla Atlético and made his debut for the first team in a Spanish Cup game. Afterwards, he played on loan with Racing Santander and Sporting, which he promoted to First Division with.
The new Girona member, who was born in Cali on July 11th, 1989, is a powerful centre-back and he will be a key player in Pablo Machin line-up.
