An historical victory

It wasn't an ordinary round in the Eredivisie. Pol Llonch's team, Willem II, managed a big victory against the leader and the current Dutch champions and Champions League semifinalists, Ajax, in their stadium, Johan Cruyff Arena (0-2).

Willem II win was Ajax first defeat of the Eredivisie season and Ajax first defeat at home in 25 months, since November 5, 2017, against FC Utrecht.

With Pol Llonch in the line-up, who completed an outstanding performance, Tresor Ndayishimiye made the opener from the penalty spot in the first half. After the break, Ajax pushed a lot but in the final minutes Dankerlui sealed the game.

Ajax remains at the top postion in the table and Willem II is already in the fourt place.
