The Spanish National Team led by Carla Suárez won the ticket for the finals of the new Federation Cup, after beating Japan by 3-1.
The Canarian tennis player added two of the three points of the Spanish team with two excellent performances. On the first matchday, Carla won 6-3/6-4 to Misaki Doi and on the second matchday she beat 6-1/6-3 to Kurumi Nara.
With this victory against the Japanese team, Spain will be among the eight teams that will play the Tennis World Cup next April in Budapest. Raising this title would be a dream for Carla Suárez as a climax to her sports career.
