Girona FC signs Seydou Doumbia, who arrives from Sporting CP, for the next three seasons.
The 30-year-old striker arrives at the Montilivi team to reinforce the attacking play and bring this experience to a very young squad. Doumbia has played 37 games with Côte d'Ivoire, has won the African Cup (2015) and has participated in a World Cup (South Africa 2010).
The Ivorian player has an extensive experience in European competitions because he has played at Roma, CSKA, Newcastle, Basel and Sporting of Lisbon. Moreover, he has raised three leagues in Russia, one in Portugal and one in Switzerland.
