Granada continues to make history

Granada CF and Villarreal CF have known their rivals in the Group Stage of the Europa League.

The Andalusian team continues to grow the history because this will be the first time in Europe in 90-year history. Diego Martínez's team, 7th classified in LaLiga 19/20, has had to overcome three qualifying rounds to be in the draw of Nyon. In the first round they beat KS Teuta 1-3, in the second round they won against Lokomotiv Tblisi 2-0 and in the last phase they beat Malmö 1-3.

Villarreal CF, which re-enters Europe for the sixth in a row, will be in Group I and will face Qarabag, Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Sivasspor. Granada CF will start this edition from Group E and will play against PSV Eindhoven, PAOK and Omonia Nicosia.

The first matches of this competition will play on Thursday, October 22nd.
