Judith Corachán faced this 2020 with the dream of being in the Kona Ironman, the best triathlon in the world, and achieved qualification for this appointment in her first competition.
The Spanish athete will be in the waters of Kailua Bay next October 10th thanks to the third place she achieved in the New Zealand Ironman. Judith completed the test with a time of 9:03:21, nine minutes from the fourth place.
With the objective accomplished, the Catalan triathlete will be able to focus on this event and she won't have to face the next competitions with the pressure of winning a position that makes her be among the best in the world in Hawaii.
Judith crossed the finish line very tired, but at the same time happy and satisfied with the result. "I don't know where I am, it was very difficult, but I think I deserve it. Today I fought a lot in the whole race and I don't believe what I have done. We are going to Hawaii. I'm very happy. This is wonderful”, she said. Judith is already one of the best triathletes in the world.
