Sergio Llull, one of the best European basketball players, is sincere in the second episode of the program 'Reyes en la Cocina' (Kings in The Kitchen), a series of interviews with well-known celebrities from Spain, produced by Arcos, a leading Albacete-based manufacturer of knives and kitchen wear.
The Real Madrid and Spanish National Team point guard bares his sole in the kitchen of Joaquín Reyes and, apart from cooking a fresh pasta with squid and tomato, speaks absolutely candidly about everything, past, present and future, sports and personal topics, such as the advice given to him early on in his career by his father, also a player; his spectacular performances at La Salle Mahón; his arrival in Manresa; his signing for Real Madrid; the recovery from injury; his hobbies; and his dreams and hopes when his career on the courts ends.
The interviews in 'Reyes en la Cocina' take place in the context of a psychological game. In any Kingdom, there can only be one rules; the King, those who have historically been delighted by good food or have been executed with poisoned food. Joaquín Reyes is the king of his kitchen and his guests are challenged to end his reign, earning his trust to find the time to poison his food. A task that will not be easy for them given that Reyes is a sharp guy, and has experience with his guests trying to finish him off. Actress Clara Lago, who at 27 has become a star of Spanish cinema, was the first star of the series.
Media Base Sports, the communication and advertising agency for Arcos, is responsible for the creativity, production and recording of the series 'Reyes en la cocina’.
