Nominated for the Ballon d'Or Dream Team

France Football, one of the most prestigious sports magazines in the world and which each season awards the Ballon d'Or to the best player on the planet, will honor this year in replacement of the traditional prize due to Covid-19, the Ballon d'Or Dream Team formed with the best football players in the history.

The game system chosen by the French publication is 1-3-4-3 and the 10 candidates per position have been revealed weekly to complete the best team of all time to date. The award will be presented on December 17, following a vote by journalists from around the world.

Among those chosen is Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola as defensive midfielder. He played for more than 10 years at FC Barcelona and was one of the leaders of the Dream Team. This is a prestigious recognition of his brilliant career that will allow him to be among the best players of his position in the world of football.

Guardiola shares this list with players such as Matthaüs, Gerrard, Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Busquets, Seedorf, Pirlo, Rijkaard, Tardelli and Schuster among others.
