Pep, member of Girona FC

Pep Guardiola signed up as a new member of Girona FC, which is owned by his brother Pere, Girona Football Group and Media Base Sports director.

Pep watched the Girona FC training session at La Vinya, in PGA Catalonia facilities, and afterwards spoke to the president Delfí Geli, the coach Juan Carlos Unzue and his staff and the players. Guardiola and Unzue played together in FC Barcelona at the end of 80's and work together when Pep was FC Barcelona head coach.

Pep received his membership card and Geli gave him a red and white shirt with his name and the number 4 that Pep wore when he was a FC Barcelona player.

"I was really keen to become a member of Girona and I'm happy to reunite again with Delfi, Juan Carlos and other friends of the club. Together we will come back to First Division", Pep said.
