Paris Saint Germain were close to make one of the biggest comebacks in European handball history, but finally the French giants were one goal away from qualifying for the Champions League Final Four, that will take place at Koln (Germany).
After losing the first leg in Poland against Kielce by ten goals (34-24), Viran Morros team completed an outstanding performance in the first half and arrived at the break with a seven-goals advantage (18-11). In the second half, PSG led by 11 with the same number of minutes remaining but a bad substitution changed everything, with Hansen taking a two-minute suspension which helped Kielce back into the game (35-26).
Now PSG will focus on the French League. They are at the top of the table with 41 points, six points ahead of Nantes with five games still left to play.
